Student Ambassador Leadership Program

The Student Ambassador Leadership Program is an exciting, new initiative for 2019, open to students in their second year of study or above.

This volunteer program integrates professional development and personal growth workshops and seminars with hands-on experience in leadership, project management and public speaking. Becoming a UWA Student Ambassador is your chance to build a network of friends, meet a variety of guest speakers and enhance your CV with a strong extra-curricular activity. You will also have the opportunity to attend and organise events designed for future UWA students and speak about your experience at the University, show prospective students around campus and facilitate activities for school groups.

What’s involved?

  • Participate in a teambuilding and training events in semester one and two.
  • Opportunity to create and deliver workshops to future students.
  • Attend workshops over semesters one and two that will give you the opportunity to develop valuable skills and network.
  • Assist the School Engagement Team in delivering events, tours and presentations both on and off-campus


  1. A minimum GPA of 5
  2. Be studying at least three units in each semester of 2019
  3. Be available to attend interviews and training in late February/early March
  4. Be prepared to commit to a number of events over the course of the year
