Making appointments

STUDENT INFECTION CONTROL COMPLIANCE: Book a standard 10min appointment only, no quick or long appointments. Please remember to bring all relevant vaccination records with you.

FLU VACCINES: Flu vaccines are still available at the University Medical Centre. For flu jabs only, please book a quick appointment.

If you wish to make an appointment by phone, call the Medical Centre on 6488 2118.

Medical appointments are available with female and male doctors as well as nursing staff. Standard appointments are 10 minutes in length. If you have a number of problems or a complex problem that you wish to discuss you should request a long appointment slot or be prepared to return for a number of visits.

We are open Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and on Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm during the semester and University holiday periods. The Medical Centre is closed on Saturday and Sunday and for University-recognised public holidays only.

Appointment information

Please arrive five minutes before your appointment to complete background information and initial assessment forms. You will also be given information about the service and issues related to confidentiality.

Make the most of your visit by making a list of the signs and symptoms of your illness or problem.

Our doctors try to run on time. However, sometimes there are lengthy waiting times if urgent medical problems are being attended to.

If you are a new patient to the Medical Centre, please download, print and complete the New Patient Registration form before arriving for your appointment.

An information sheet about the practice is also available here for download:
