The UWA Local Drug Action Group (UWA LDAG) have funding available to support initiatives that address alcohol or other drug related harm to students.
The UWA LDAG Small Grants Scheme aims to support and resource members of the UWA community to undertake activities which prevent and/or reduce hazardous or harmful alcohol and other drug use among students.
Any group/member of the UWA community has the opportunity to apply for up to $500 per application, to support alcohol or other drug-related initiatives.

STRIVE Project Grants are offered by Local Drug Action Groups Inc. and aim to support LDAG branches to undertake activities which prevent and/or reduce hazardous and harmful alcohol and other drug use in the community.
Individuals or groups that are represented on the UWA LDAG are able to apply for project grants of up to $3,000 to support projects that either target youth, parents and families or the community.
Previous successful applications have included the UWA Student Guild (Chill Out Zone furniture), the School of Indigenous Studies (Sporting uniforms), Brief Alcohol Intervention (BAIT) program boxes for Colleges and members across the UWA Community, and Trinity College for a Harm Minimisation project. All applications must be supported by the UWA LDAG Committee and minuted at a bimonthly meeting prior to submission.
