Here are some random programs I have written in the past - most are to fulfil a specific application I needed/wanted and some might be useful to others, so here they are.

Picasa-XML to HTML converter - 108kB

Simple GUI tool to convert XML files created by Picasa into a nice single HTML page - IMHO Picasa's HTML pages are bloated and you shouldn't have one HTML page per picture! Source code included (VC++6).
Requires: Unzipping program, Windows.

Windows MD5 tool - 44kB

Calculates MD5 checksums for files using a simple graphical interface. Source code included (VC++6).
Requires: Unzipping program.

Tournament scheduler - 12kB

A double elimination tournament scheduler (which you could use to run your own Slime tourneys :). I couldn't find anything free on the net of this description, so I wrote my own. Note it is rather user-un-friendly, but hey, it only took a few hours to write.
Requires: Java Virtual Machine, from java.sun.com

Bibtex paper manager - 115kB

Parses a Bibtex file, and creates an HTML index with links to papers - please read the comments at the top of the source code given.
Requires: Windows/Linux, or source is included if you want to compile yourself.

Javascript vector calculator - 3kB

Calculates dot and cross products for n-dimensional vectors in your web browser.
Requires: Netscape 3 or higher (doesn't run in Internet Explorer), an unzipping program (eg Winzip).

Bluescreening application - 3kB

Removes a background of relatively uniform colour from an image.
Requires: Java 1.4 compiler.

Pineapple Rag ring tone - 0.1kB

The main theme from the Pineapple Rag, for Nokia mobile phones.
Requires: a modern Nokia mobile phone.

Hand mouse pointer - 0.3kB

A standard hand pointer. Apparently it doesn't come with the standard Windows distrubution as a cursor file to import into another program.
Requires: Windows 95 or later.

Rude hand mouse pointer - 0.3kB

Hand as above but with a different finger pointing upwards.
Requires: Windows 2000 or ME if you want to set the pointer as the default browser pointer.
