In particular, the workshop matches the algebraic definition of a subspace to simple geometric properties based on vectors to build the foundations of an intuitive understanding of subspaces in general. Simple proofs and counter examples for test style questions are provided and the concept of Nullspace is introduced.

Laplace Transforms and the Heaviside Function

In particular, the workshop presents examples and demonstrates how Laplace Transforms can be used to solve certain Differential Equations. We also show how the Heaviside function can extend Laplace Transforms to piecewise functions.
