Having analysed the assignment question and done some reading and research, it’s time to develop a provisional thesis statement and to think about how to organise your ideas.

A well thought out structure is central to a successful essay. Your assignment task will determine the way in which you structure your essay. Not all assignments require the same structure.

By reminding your reader of your main point, you refocus their attention.

No need to include the extra points you couldn’t fit in the body of the essay. Refrain from adding new information and instead summarise your key points.

This is not the place for quotes from Confucius or Shakespeare. Use your own wisdom and expertise.
