UniSpeakers aims to help students overcome a major fear and improve a key communication skill.
Public speaking is a requirement in many UWA units and is increasingly included as an assessment tool. Students at all levels are expected to present to their peers, with many students also called on to present to their schools, funding bodies and at conferences.

Each meeting includes a brief information session on the focus topic and then students practise speaking for a short period before receiving positive feedback and recommendations from the group.
