Exam misconduct

I was thrown out of college for cheating on the metaphysics exam; I looked into the soul of a boy sitting next to me. (Woody Allen)

While you might think you can look into someone's soul, you can't look at their exam paper! Cheating in exams has a long history and the more old-fashioned ways have been superseded by the use of electronic devices. In any form, cheating in exams is regarded as a major breach of ethical scholarship.

In addition to cheating, other behaviour is also considered unacceptable in exams. This includes passing information between students, communicating verbally or non-verbally or having someone else sit the exam for you.
