UWA Business School

As a UWA Business School student, you can apply for a range of scholarships designed to help you reach your full potential and gain recognition for your success.

Scholarships are available for undergraduate students (both commencing and current), as well as honours, MBA and postgraduate coursework students.

The following scholarships are administered by the UWA Business School.

Please note that all current BHP Billiton employees and contractors are ineligible to receive a BHP Billiton Scholarships in the UWA Business School.

Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships

There are a range of scholarships available to students undertaking postgraduate courses at the UWA Business School. These include scholarships for students who demonstrate strong academic achievement, students interested in the mining and resources industry or Economics, and MBA students wishing to increase to a full-time study load. Executive Education Scholarships

There are various scholarships available for courses offered through AIM WA-UWA Business School Executive Education. In particular, scholarships are available for the Advanced Management Program (AMP). The AMP is designed to challenge and empower leaders to obtain a deeper understanding of their leadership capabilities and management expertise, as they increasingly contribute to the senior levels of their organisations.

BHP Billiton Indigenous Advanced Management Program Scholarships

Each year BHP Billiton offers two BHP Billiton Indigenous AMP Scholarships. The two BHP Billiton Indigenous AMP Scholarships cover course fees (A$8,840 plus GST) plus travel, accommodation and transit up to the value of $2000. Sir Frank Ledger AMP Scholarship

Applications for financial assistance are invited from senior leaders in the not-for-profit and small business sectors. One full-program scholarship (or equivalent part-program scholarships) is available for each of the May and September 2017 programs. More information is available here.

Prizes and Awards

Business School students are eligible for a number of academic prizes. In addition, high achieving MBA students are acknowledged as Tracey Horton Scholars whilst the Philip Brown Scholar will be awarded to the top Honours student in Accounting and Finance. A full list of prizes can be found here.
