Undergraduate transfers

You can apply to transfer from one course to another if you have not completed the requirements of your current course.

Undergraduate students

There are two transfer periods each year for students who wish to apply to transfer to another eligible undergraduate course.

To apply login via studentConnect and selecting 'Apply to Transfer' under 'Admissions'.

Students currently enrolled in a pre-2012 course who wish to transfer into another pre-2012 course must apply using an Undergraduate Transfer Application Form. These forms are available from your Student Advising Office

Students will be notified via student email of the outcome of their application from late December 2018 to early January 2019. Students must respond to this email to accept or decline the offer. The offer cannot be deferred. The email will include details on how to proceed with enrolment.  

Applications for entry into Semester 1, 2019

Open 15 October 2018 and close on 10 December 2018

If you do not accept your offer or you were unsuccessful with your application, you can enrol in your previous course, or you may choose to apply for Approved Leave. 
Late Applications

Open 11 December 2018 and close on 8 February 2019.

A $100 late fee will apply. 

Students will be notified via email of the outcome of their late application from mid February 2019. Students must respond to this email to accept or decline the offer. The offer cannot be deferred. The email will include details on how to proceed with enrolment.    

If you do not accept your offer or you were unsuccessful with your application, you can enrol in your previous course, or you may choose to apply for Approved Leave. 

 

Applications for entry into Semester 2, 2019

Open 1 May 2019 and close on 30 June 2019

Students will be notified via email of the outcome of their application from early July 2019.  Students must respond to this email to accept or decline the offer. The offer cannot be deferred. The email will include details on how to proceed with enrolment.

If you do not accept your transfer offer, or you were unsuccessful with your application, you can enrol in your previous course, or you may choose to apply for Approved Leave

Late Applications

Open 1 July 2019 and close on 15 July 2019.

A $100 late fee will apply.

Students will be notified via  email of the outcome of their application after 15 July 2019.  Students must respond to this email to accept or decline the offer. The offer cannot be deferred.  The email will include details on how to proceed with enrolment.  

If you do not accept your offer or you were unsuccessful with your application, you can enrol in your previous course, or you may choose to apply for Approved Leave from that course. 

Postgraduate Students

There is normally no transfer process for postgraduate courses. If you wish to change your course, you are strongly advised to talk to your Student Advising Office before submitting a new application for a new admission.
